OneVoiceHub
Waiting list

How we look after your details

This notice covers the waiting list and the emails that go with it, and nothing else. The prototype has its own terms and privacy notice.

Who we are

OneVoiceHub is an independent ministry, funded personally by Owen Anderson. The controller of your details is Owen Anderson, who runs OneVoiceHub personally. No church body owns the Hub, and we share nothing with any church body.

What we hold, and why

Your first name, your email address, and where you are if you tell us, with the date you joined. We use them for two things: to send you occasional updates as the Hub takes shape and word when it opens where you are, and to know which regions to open first. We do not use them for anything else, and we never sell them.

We hold them because you agreed to it when you joined. That explicit consent is our legal basis, and you can withdraw it at any time. Because the Hub serves churches, being on the list may suggest something about your faith; we treat it with that in mind and use it for nothing else.

Where they are held

The waiting list is held in FlexiFunnels, the service that runs these pages, which is operated by Misfits Change Makers Private Limited in India. When you join, your details are passed to Encharge, the email service that sends the confirmation and every update. Both process your details on our instructions and for no purpose of their own.

FlexiFunnels stores data with Amazon Web Services in India and Singapore, so your details leave the UK. FlexiFunnels' data processing terms provide standard contractual clauses for transfers from the UK. Encharge stores data with Amazon Web Services in Ireland.

Encharge also records the approximate location of the device you joined from, worked out from its internet address. We use it for the same purpose as the town you give us: to know which regions to open first.

How long we keep them

Until you leave the list, or until the list closes. When the Hub opens we may invite people from the list, which is a separate step, and we will ask you first. If you leave, your details are deleted.

Leaving, and your rights

Every email has a link to leave the list in one click. You can also reply to any email and we will take you off.

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, or ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email privacy@onevoicehub.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
